"ECO-ADVENTURE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES 2002 PROJECT SCHEDULE"

The first full year for Eco-Adventure Foundation had many great success stories. The year was kicked off with the restoration of a beetle-infested state park in Virginia where hundreds of pine trees had succumbed to the insects. Next, the foundation assisted with a trail clean-up project in the Tarhgee National Forest of Idaho. The organization completed its busy year with a combined effort, which resulted in the implementation of a recycling program in Queenstown, New Zealand.

The second year for Eco-Adventure Foundation is shaping up to be another busy, productive, and adventurous year. Brenda & Don Moden, founders, will be involved with a racecourse clean up the day after Ironman Utah (www.ironmanutah.com) on June 9th, 2002. Eco-Adventure Foundation supports the importance of leaving an environment in the same or better condition than before use of the area. Eco-Adventure Foundation Director Brenda Moden, says "These efforts are not only important to the visual beauty of local environments, but the wildlife that reside in the area 365 days of the year."

The foundation will continue the year by teaming up with Team The Inside Lane (www.theinsidelane.com) and Eco Primal Quest (www.ecoprimalquest.com) in a recycling effort during the 10 day adventure race being staged near Telluride, Colorado beginning July 4th, 2002. A race of this size and magnitude generates a large amount of recyclable waste. Many times this waste is discarded around local trash bins instead of being recycled. Eco-Adventure Foundation will be working closely with the support crew of Team The Inside Lane to collect recyclable items from other teams and their support crews.

Once again the founders of Eco-Adventure Foundation, Don & Brenda Moden, will team up for a trail clean-up project following the Mt. Hood Pacific Crest Trail Ultramarathon on August 11th, 2002 (www.scottdiamond.com/running/races/pct/). Eco-Adventure Foundation will continue to teach by example the importance of taking action to protect and preserve our environment. Inspiring others to share in this vision is essential to the betterment of our global ecology.

This adventurous year of positive environmental impact will culminate with a series of beach clean-up projects in the Fijian Islands during October 2002. Eco-Adventure Foundation will work in partnership with Team Maximum Effort and Eco-Challenge Productions (www.ecochallenge.com) for this exciting project series. Eco-Challenge Productions has a long history of sound environmental success stories and will continue this legacy of improving the environment in Fiji with the assistance of our foundation.

It is a great pleasure to announce this exciting 2002 project schedule. Eco-Adventure Foundation Director Don Moden, states, “I am so pleased that our foundation is continuing to grow and team with dedicated organizations possessing similar visions as Eco-Adventure Foundation”.
